2025

Visited on my tour across northern Italy in June/July 2025 along with my Italian photography friends Cristiana and Ashira. We parked up nearby and after hitting the water to col down from the intense heat of the Italian summer we ventured inside and luckily the town was quiet so there were no nosey people and spying neighbours to avoid on our way in.

The house inside was full of the last owners possessions along with a copious amount of decay adding to it's photographic charm. As in many Italian homes, crucifixes and other religious artefacts adorned the walls and surfaces with portraits scattered around from a long ago era adding to the old world feel to the house. A grand staircase led from the downstairs hallway to the upper floor with its green stained glass window on a side wall allowing broken sunlight through to lift the darkness.

There is no history on this house or information on when it became abandoned but judging my the poor state of the house it had probably been left for quite a few years. Even the wooden shutters on the outside of the windows had started to wilt and looked like they could fall off anytime soon.
