Hidden amongst dense trees we found this long abandoned villa in the north Italian countryside. Inside remained the posessions of the last occupants; furniture, perosnal items and lots more. 

Upon entering through the broken off door, we were greeted by the spacious hallway along with a huge bookcase at one end. 

In one of the bedrooms a double head-boarded bed still remained still with its bedding on - like a lot of beds found in Italian homes these were real works of art. 

The highlight for me was the ultra retro tiles bathroom, a real throwback to the 1970s when dazzling designs were the flavour of the day and these tiles screamed at you as soon as you walked in. 

Torn curtains fluttered out of the broken windows and wallpaper peeled away from the walls as this villa fades into the past with seemingly no-one to take care of it.
