St. Mary's Church, Anglesey 2022

1/1
Mary's Church in Anglesey is a Grade I Listed medieval church. The church has been restored in modern times and is a stone building with a slate roof. Several stained glass windows still remain intact thankfully despite it being a lost church.
Some earlier 11th century and 12th century origins are still visible today. The chancel was rebuilt in the 15th century with the South chapel and arcade having been added in the 16th century with the West tower dating from the C17th century. The building is built of rubble masonry, heavily mortared and with freestone dressing with perpendicular detail.
Not much else can be found on this lost church so the photographs will have to paint their own picture.
