Maison Perdu

Visited with Becci and Martin, the last location of a long day and a nice retro house in a semi residential part of Belgium. A delightful house of fabulous wallpapers not only on the walls but on doors and ceilings making some of the rooms feel slightly claustrophobic. This seems to be a Belgian trait for many houses.

Many things left inside but no history could be found of who lived here and when the house became abandoned.

The feel of the house was very 1970s mainly due to that wallpaper and the house itself was in fairly good condition in most parts with only a couple of rooms showing signs of decay and neglect.

Highlight - besides the wallpaper - had to be the home made standing lamp made out of a rifle, very ingenious and quite a centre piece to any room!
