Holly Lodge Girl's College, Liverpool

Originating from 1828, Holly Lodge was  a detached Georgian house in Liverpool. Later in 1922 it opened as a girl's school after additional buildings had been erected.

Visited in 2015 with David (Scrappy) we managed to photograph inside early one morning but had to make a quick exit once the builders arrived. The building is due to be demolished to make way for new Redrow homes. The site includes two Grade II listed buildings,  which - thankfully - will be saved as part of the plans for renovation.

Since it closed, the interior has been used for film sets for tv. From what we could see, the remnants of a prison and a police station still existed from filming.
