Bowling Alley de Hogne

Five of us found ourselves in here one late summer evening in Belgium. Not my usual type of location admittedly so I wasn't hugely inspired to take many photographs. Where there is an absence pf decay to transform the aesthetics of a place and give that true abandoned feeling, locations can look too 'new' even if they are technically abandoned.

I think the shelves of forgotten bowling shoes was my favourite detail of this place but imagine the wooden shelves with cobwebs, dirt and the usual signs of decay and the place would be transformed. Maybe i'll pop in to see how it looks in a few years if it is still abandoned and not turned into a supermarket!
